The Royal Happy Family

Please excuse my fascination with the British Royal Couple but let me just say that I'm a huge fan of William and Kate. Especially Kate. I love everything that she wears and how she carry herself really well.

And now they have a baby. Wow! They really make a cute young family noh? Images via What Kate Wore

Today's Inspiration

I've always been fascinated with Islamic Architecture. I am amazed by the intricate details, arches and vibrant colors. And lately, after watching Sex and the City Movie 2, I've been captivated by Morocco. It's now a part of my travel list.

What I'm reading right now

The past week has been pretty light on me. Got nothing much to do but wait. Anyway, I recently stumbled upon Rue Magazine and liked it very much. I find reading interior design magazines very relaxing and inspiring, especially since its an online one.

Let that which is unsaid be said

Ever have the feeling that you need to say something to someone yet, you don't know how to say it? Well, worry no more! You no longer have to say it straight on their faces instead, you can just email these customized fillable (is this a word?) forms:

If you want to say thank you
If you're safeguarding a secret
When delivering bad news
When professing your romantic feelings in a formal love letter
Or when you just want to air your complaint

You can find more of these cute and clever fill-in-the-blank stationeries at the Bureau of Communication.

MJ

I know it's a little late, but as they say, better late than never. ha! So here's my little animation tribute to the King of Pop. This was an animation project way back my college days so pardon the quality and the illustration.

MJ forever!

Hello wedges!

Though summer's done and it is rainy season here in the tropical Philippines, I've been obsessing about a lot of wedges lately. And, here are some of them.

So chica

My daily online reads wouldn't be complete without browsing through some of my favorite fashion blogs. Admittedly, I have bookmarked a lot that I am not able to read all of them. Though I am not that much type of person who lives for fashion, as a girl I love looking at someone else's style to get some tips. I also like how these bloggers actually add 'chica' to their daily wear. The perfect inspiration for days when you feel so lazy to dress up.

Up For A Good Start: XYZ Inks Celebrates Its First Anniversary In The Country

For starters XYZ Inks is doing well in the hi-tech world of Inkjets and Laser Cartridges. Based in the United States, this multinational company has recently celebrated its first anniversary with its initial outlet in the country- Makati City.
Unique to its industry, the company caters printing paraphernalia to its primary market- the business sector. “We discovered that here in the Philippines, it was a much more difficult task to educate the business sector than what we had envisioned. We had to modify our operations to meet our own standards to service our clients,” discussed Mr. Z, president of XYZ Inks Philippines. Aside from large corporate accounts the company also caters to individual consumer segment.
To allow better customer service, XYZ Inks standardized its store designs same to its centers overseas. Inevitably, the company encountered a few bumps with the setting up of the stores. Thanks to its great manual operations everything pushed through smoothly.
With the operations only started on 2007, the company has a total of 5 outlets at present. To date the company’s initial plan was to have only 3 stores opened by third quarter of 2007 but with the strong sales and demands, 2 more came its way as the year 2008 starts.
During the course of the year constant modifying and innovations were made to fully support growth and customer demands. “As we went forward and opened new stores in other locations, we were constantly modifying our support capabilities for the system. We continued to grow in such a way that our system became the only one that supports the variety of inkjet and laser cartridges being used here in the country.” said Mr. Z.
In terms of sales volume, the company foresees a rapid 40% increase of stores by 2008 with its steady growth throughout the year. Mr. Z also mentioned that discussions are up for opening stores in various locations such as Manila, Quezon City and Laguna.
When asked about XYZ Inks Philippines’ goals for 2008, Mr. Z answered With the success of our current stores, we expect to open 10 more outlets this year. About half of them will be in Metro Manila with the rest being provincial locations. We also plan to expand our clientele base and offer more products and services for the retail market.”
